On Sundays, we have Sunday School for all ages that starts at 9 am. The Worship service starts at 10 am. The worship service is typically over at 11:15. After the service, join us in the library and foyer for coffee and cookies. On Sunday evenings, join us at 6 pm for a time of prayer and Bible study.  We also have several small groups in homes throughout the community that meet in the middle of the week.

 

We love to sing here at First Baptist. Throughout the worship service we will sings several songs consisting of both traditional and modern hymns, while using a variety of musical instruments. Our goal with all of our music is to exalt our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

 

We do not have a dress code for members or guests. Some in our church enjoy dressing up, wearing coats, ties, etc., while others are in jeans, shirts and cowboy boots. Those in leadership typically wear collared shirts and slacks.

Children are a gift from our God. We seek to help them learn the important truths of God’s Word in a kind and safe environment. During the Sunday School time, there is a class for every age group. During the Sunday worship service, children up through age 8 are dismissed for a time of age-appropriate Bible-lessons and activities. On Sunday evenings during the school year, we offer an AWANA program for children ages 3 – 12, from 5:45 pm – 7:15 pm.

 

At all of our services there is a nursery available for children up through age 3.

 

While we do have programs for children available, please know that your child is welcome to stay with you in any of our services if that is your preference.
